Platicas & Painting

Platicas & Painting is the title of a project I worked on with my abuelito, a refugee who left everything behind in his small pueblo in modern day Zacatecas, Mexico. This painting was inspired by the Wixárika community he left behind and honors my Indigenous ancestry.
