THAO HUYNH FRENCH
Multi-disciplinary artist and muralist Thao Huynh French was commissioned to create two murals for San Diego Mesa College's KUP Village in the Student Services building. This is her debut solo exhibit and features paintings, interactive installations and archival materials that provide insights into her process and ideas. Born in Vietnam and raised in California, French's artistic practice is influenced by her Asian American heritage, her experience as refugee, and an appreciation for nature, particularly flowers, which she sees as symbols of resilience and transformation.
